2.0.1 (build 103)
October 17, 2026
GasBlender 2.0.1 brings fixes in the dive analysis and when restoring a backup. The check row “Ascent start” is now clearly separate from the ascent rate. The example dives carry short, language-neutral names and the badge “Simulation”. On the iPhone, the “Difference to the original” preview is folded when you create a variant. After restoring a backup, the “Safety-relevant values changed” sheet is fully readable on iPhone and iPad and closes with a check mark.
2.0.0 (build 102)
October 16, 2026
New main area “Gas Choice”: which standard gas can be blended safely for a depth from the gas in your storage cylinders, with the minimum mix from target depth and stock. Fourth working profile “Recreational dive” with pO₂ 1.4 bar. Selectable currency, metric or imperial units, US paper sizes and Avery sheets. Custom booster with your own reference table, MPS C1 and C2. Cylinder presets without units in the name, North American cylinders, preset M 7. A help section of its own for gas choice.
1.9.1 (build 101)
September 23, 2026
New in GasBlender 1.9.1: the "Gas Choice" area. Enter the planned depth, the working profile and your target cylinder with its residual gas, and GasBlender shows which standard gases you can blend from your supply cylinders to the target pressure without breaking a ppO₂, gas density or END limit at that depth. Each row shows its status (blend directly, booster required with time, supply insufficient), any gas you would have to drain, and cost. Gases that are ruled out for the depth appear in red below – with the reason. One click hands gas, cylinder and supply levels to the planner. Also new: the "Recreational dive" working profile (ppO₂ 1.4 bar), the M 7 cylinder preset (7 L, 220 bar) and a dedicated help section.
1.9.0 (build 99)
September 21, 2026
GasBlender 1.9.0 goes international: under Settings → Prices you choose the currency for all prices and costs (EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, and more) – a display format only, with no conversion. Under Settings → General you switch between Metric (bar, °C, m) and Imperial (psi, °F, ft); this applies to input and display in the planner, fill plan, fill sheet, PDF, print, image export, and MOD labels. Maximum depths are always rounded down in feet. English fill plans show gas quantities in litres, or in cu ft in Imperial mode. New cylinder presets AL40 through HP120. Fill sheets are now also available in US Letter, US Legal, and US Half Letter; the paper-saving layout follows the paper size, and the print dialog shows paper size and orientation. Label sheet templates carry a sheet format – Avery 5163/8163 and 5164/8164 for US Letter are built in. The Custom Booster gets an editable reference table prefilled with NRC 220/2 data plus your own reference conditions; MPS C1 and MPS C2 are new booster models. Planner input responds noticeably faster. Settings show a fully visible header and flat sections.
1.8.3 (build 97)
September 20, 2026
GasBlender 1.8.3 raises operating limits to a new level: three work profiles (1.2 / 1.3 / 1.6 bar pO₂), a separate 1.4 bar comparison scenario, END with oxygen treated as narcotic or nitrogen-only relative to air, four-level gas density assessment, and optional dive-site elevation. Fill plans and fill sheets print as dimensionally accurate PDFs through the native print dialog – in A4, A5, A6, B5, or paper-saving with both pages on one A4 landscape sheet – or export as PNG. New: MOD labels from separately entered analysis values, also on A4 label sheets, a printer setup assistant for AirPrint, raw label printers, and Bluetooth label printers, plus a custom logo on the fill sheet. The macOS app gains a native toolbar in the current system design, text-only Help, and a public support site. Important: the cost comparison now only recommends variants that are actually reachable with the selected booster.
1.8.0
August 14, 2026
Version 1.8.0 adds a clear fourth category to gas management and provides more prominent warnings for reduced-oxygen mixtures. The operating limits of the resulting gas are now shown for all work profiles at the same time. The graphical fill bars on iPhone and iPad and the German and English interfaces have also been refined.
